Men’s Ministry
The Men's Ministry allows the men of our congregation to fellowship and grow together as they confront specific issues that relate to men from a biblical perspective. This ministry provides a Men’s Bible Study, All Male Worship Services, Retreats, Workshops, and other events aimed at helping men grow through Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, Outreach, and Service.
This ministry is looking for persons who are interested and will be committed to serve and help us continue growing as men of God. If you are interested please call the Church Office and leave your name and phone number, and a ministry leader will call you and arrange a time to meet with you.

Women's Ministry
The Women’s Ministry allows the women of the congregation to fellowship and grow together as they confront specific issues that relate to women from a biblical perspective. This ministry hosts Women Only Worship (WOW) Services, Retreats/Conferences, monthly Women’s Bible Study, and other events aimed at helping sisters grow through Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, Outreach, and Service.

The Re-Entry Project
SLBC will be collaborating with the Horizon Community Development, INC. to institute its’ program Project S.P.R.A.W.L. (Substance Prevention and Recovery Assistance with Love). Project S.P.R.A.W.L’s mission is to reintegrate ex-offenders and recovering drug abusers back into society. This project was launched in June 2012. Faith Based organizations in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Passaic counties are slated to become Horizon Uttermost Branches (also known as HUBs). St. Luke will be established as the Passaic County HUB providing recovery, mentoring and supportive services for Passaic County. We will also be leader to various Affiliated Recovery Support Centers (also known as RSCs) located throughout Passaic County. The ultimate goal of Horizon Community Development, St. Luke and RSCs is to collaboratively assist the citizens of New Jersey to constructively contribute to our society and local communities in positive ways.
To effectively mentor within the Paterson community and help our sons, daughters, mothers, fathers and extended family members re-connect back into society, the program needs volunteers dedicated to this project initiative. Horizon Community Development will be conducting training for St. Luke volunteers on Saturday, September 15th 2012 from 9am to 1pm.
